TISKI: 64-Screen Retrofit
Custom design | 64 screens
The first use of Coanda screens for drinking water in the Trabzon region. ADENCO worked with TISKI (Trabzon Water and Sewerage Administration) to modernise 64 ageing drinking water intake structures serving 64 separate settlements, retrofitting them with Coanda screens in two stages.

Rwanda Hydropower: Kigasa
Custom design | 850 l/s (screen capacity)
A custom production batch: non-standard dimensions, heavier construction for extreme site conditions, and protection bars against large debris (stainless steel bars mounted in front of the wedge wire that take the impact of rocks and timber). From order to dispatch: 5 weeks.

Seydioğlu HPP: Trabzon
Custom design | 2,500 l/s
At the Seydioğlu HPP (hydropower plant), a complete weir redesign replaced clogged Tyrolean intake structures with custom Coanda screens. The full design of the intake structure was delivered in 8 weeks, eliminating flood-season shutdowns.

Gongele HPP: Antalya
ADENCO-127-1 | 4,424 l/s
28 ADENCO-127-1 screens, including two custom widths of 150 mm and 800 mm, designed to fit two weirs that were cast to the wrong width. CAD modelling and hydraulic analysis based on the US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) Coanda Design Guide gave a solution without costly reconstruction.

BUSKI Muratbey: After the Flood
3 x ADENCO-45-1 | 105 l/s
A 105 l/s irrigation intake in the İnegöl hills, fitted with protection bars (stainless steel bars mounted in front of the wedge wire that take the impact of rocks and timber), photographed at commissioning in November 2017 and again ten months later, after a flood had filled the pond behind the weir with rock and sand. The screen was still supplying water.

Trabzon: Two Intakes Under Ice
3 x ADENCO-45-1 and 3 x ADENCO-70-0.75 | 105 l/s and 150 l/s
Two mountain drinking-water intakes at two separate sites in Trabzon: one takes 105 l/s through three ADENCO-45-1 screens, the other 150 l/s through three ADENCO-70-0.75 screens, both with protection bars (stainless steel bars mounted in front of the wedge wire that take the impact of rocks and timber). They were photographed in winter, with the pond behind the weir frozen over and snow piled on the screen. At both, water kept passing through the wedge wire beneath the ice.
